This Sensi Flex rod is custom designed by John Beath and uses Sensi Flex carbon and fiberglass blend to make this rod super light, super strong and super flexible. The rod has five black stainless steel "Marine Grade" premium Alps guides, blue aluminum reel seat and gimbal and custom reel seat lock. This is a great rod for jigging halibut, or for a kid. It also works great with lures and bait. This rod will handle any size halibut, from small to extra large fish because it has the strength and ultimate leverage on fish. It also makes a great travel rod and can be hand carried on commercial jets, just stow it in the overhead compartment. Line rating, 30 to 130 braid. Lure weight: 6 to 48 oz
